We insist that every student receives a world-class education while fostering a love for learning.

We are passionate about changing the landscape of public education in New York City and beyond, and we are uncompromising in our mission.

We currently operate multiple elementary and middle schools across the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens, and continue to grow - opening 1–2 new schools each year, because children in every community deserve excellent, equitable education.

As part of this organizational expansion, we are also preparing to welcome our first-ever Zeta High School class of 9th graders in the 2026-27 school year, a milestone that marks the next chapter in our mission to provide a world-class, PreK-12 pathway.

Join our growing team today and be a change agent for children.

Deliver powerful results To achieve our vision, we are seeking Taekwondo Instructors with a Bachelor’s degree, 1–2+ years of coaching or teaching experience, and a commitment to building students’ confidence, discipline, and character through Taekwondo.

Responsibilities

Execute a bold vision of excellence in Taekwondo, designing structured, rigorous, and developmentally appropriate instruction that builds students’ self-confidence, discipline, focus, and respect. Build a positive, inclusive learning environment where students develop a genuine love for Taekwondo and families feel connected to a strong, values-driven community. Use data, student progress, and skill benchmarks to monitor growth, refine instruction, and support each student’s physical, social-emotional, and character development. Develop authentic, trusting relationships with students and families to support students’ growth both on and off the mat. Collaborate closely with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional learning, embracing feedback and coaching to continuously strengthen your practice. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and provide instructional support as needed, ensuring martial arts are meaningfully integrated into the broader student experience. Lead a high-quality after-school Taekwondo program that deepens students’ passion, builds technical skill, and prepares students for demonstrations, tournaments, and competition.
