Medical Assistant (MA) - Bridge Place Academy

The school-Based medical assistant float provides float coverage across school-Based sites, assisting with primary health service coordination, performing clerical support such as registration and record maintenance, and facilitating non-Patient care communications. Additionally, the ma assists primary care practitioners with back-Office duties including medication/Immunization maintenance and administration, patient rooming, and other tasks within the ma scope.

Candidates must complete a clinical medical assistant training program resulting in a diploma or ccma, or possess an active lpn license, along with a required 160-Hour externship or six months of direct outpatient patient care experience. A basic life support (Bls/Cpr) certification from aha or red cross is required, and experience in school-Age student services is highly preferred.
