The Lifeguard supports the Aquatics department by ensuring the safety of all facility users and implementing emergency and rescue procedures. This role also involves enforcing pool rules, managing pool opening/closing, and reporting maintenance needs to the Aquatics Director.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess current American Red Cross or YMCA certifications in Lifeguard with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. Desirable availability includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
