Position Title

LSA - Stipend Substitute Teacher Position Location: Lutheran South Academy (LSA) FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Campus Principal/Head of School Position Purpose: Responsible for carrying out the lesson plans of the teacher for whom you are substituting for.

Job Requirements

Follow the lesson plans left by the teacher for whom you are substituting for in accordance with LEAH Schools philosophy, goals, and objectives Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated Establish and maintain order in the classroom Maintain a classroom environment conductive to effective learning Take all necessary and responsible precautions to protect the students, materials, equipment, and the facilities Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and school policies Provide for the spiritual growth of students Be an example with your own personal spiritual life Cooperate with school personnel Report to the school principal or the designee at the beginning and at the end of the school day Treats all children with dignity and respect. Fulfill other duties as assigned

Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records Must be fluent in English (Written and Spoken) Able to define problems and implement appropriate solutions Must maintain a high standard of ethics and honesty Maintain accurate, competent, and efficient performance Guard the confidentiality of personnel and records Must be able to work with all levels of management, faculty and staff along with outside services. Encourage a sense of teamwork and enthusiasm for the Christ-centered ministry of the school. Able to meet deadlines and give attention to details and accuracy when needed. Punctual and reliable attendance Terms of the Position: Stipend Position (Amount depends on level and amount of blocks worked) $60 for Half Day (4 hours) $125 for Full Day (8 hours)
