Teacher Aide, Early Head Start

The teacher aide will work under the lead teacher to plan and implement daily education programs, ensuring classroom activities are developmentally appropriate and meet individual child needs according to standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring documentation like attendance and health checks, observing/Assessing child development, and adhering to specialized education plans.

Candidates must possess either a high school diploma/Ged with six semester hours of child development coursework plus one year of early childhood experience, or a high school diploma/Ged with a non-Expired cda certification and one year of relevant experience. Clearance from the department of children and family services, a biannual physical exam, and a tb test are mandatory.
