Requirements summary

Candidates must possess either a high school diploma/Ged with six semester hours of child development coursework plus one year of early childhood experience, or a high school diploma/Ged with a non-Expired cda certification and one year of relevant experience. Clearance from the department of children and family services, a biannual physical exam, and a tb test are mandatory.
