About the Role

The Learning Experience – Newark, DE is seeking a Lead-Qualified Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role supports multiple classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool) and is ideal for a flexible, skilled educator who enjoys variety and making an impact across the entire school.

Our program focuses on early academics, social-emotional growth, and hands-on learning in a joyful, structured environment.

What You’ll Do: Step into different classrooms (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) as needed

Lead and support classrooms in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate way

Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum across age groups

Support early literacy, math, social skills, creativity, and problem-solving

Maintain strong communication with families and team members

Ensure compliance with Delaware licensing and center policies

Support daily routines including transitions, meals, rest time, and activities

Partner with leadership and teaching teams to maintain high-quality programming

Qualifications: (Lead Qualified Required)

TECE 1 & TECE 2 required (Delaware Early Care & Education)

High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE coursework strongly preferred

At least 6 months of classroom experience (1+ year preferred)

Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
