Teacher Assistant

The assistant teacher will support the child care teacher by supervising the program and maintaining a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for all participating children. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to eec regulations and old colony y policies while assisting with implementing the program curriculum and daily activities.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with current cpr/Aed and first aid certifications. Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months is also required.
