Certified Classroom Teacher - 2026-2027

The teacher is primarily responsible for supporting the diocese of tucson's mission by evangelizing, catechizing, and educating youth within a catholic school environment, acting as a minister of the gospel both academically and behaviorally. Essential duties include recognizing and supporting the catholic mission, leading daily prayer, planning lessons aligned with academic and religious curricula, and providing explicit evidence-Based instruction and intervention.

Candidates must possess a current and valid arizona teaching certificate, a completed bachelor's degree or higher, and a strong commitment to the roman catholic church's mission, potentially requiring practicing catholic status if baptized. Essential qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, and the willingness to obtain and maintain level i diocesan ministry certification.
