Core responsibilities
The mental health professional partners with schools to improve healthcare and academic outcomes by conducting student assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing crisis intervention services within a community-Based program. General duties include participating in the school district behavior support team, conducting various types of counseling, and maintaining accurate behavioral health records.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work or counseling and hold a required license as a plpc or lmsw, with lpc or lcsw being preferred. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a social work/Counseling setting, including previous experience with hospital/School work or student crisis intervention, is mandatory.
