Substitute School Teacher (Contractor)

The substitute teacher is responsible for providing curriculum materials, establishing rules for behavior using indirect guidance, and setting clear objectives for lessons while adapting methods to meet student interests. They must monitor student behavior, assist in maintaining an orderly classroom, and perform positive behavior support and management.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and previous teaching experience is preferred. Applicants must be physically able to stand or sit for periods, be flexible with availability between 8:15 am and 6:15 pm, and must pass local and federal background checks and required child abuse training.
