Core responsibilities
The infant lead teacher will work as part of the teaching team to foster a positive learning environment, document milestones for parents, and collaborate with colleagues to implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Responsibilities also include respecting children's interests, intervening for safety, modeling social behavior, and planning balanced daily activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old, meeting all state lead teacher requirements, preferably with previous infant teaching experience. A child development associate (Cda) or a college degree in early childhood or a related field is required, along with demonstrated flexibility and classroom management skills.
