Float Teacher

The float teacher is responsible for the constant supervision of children across multiple classrooms and must support and adhere to all horizons for homeless children policies and procedures. This role involves contributing to curriculum design, practicing positive behavior management, and maintaining classroom health and safety standards.

Candidates must possess a department of early education and care (Eec) teacher certification and have at least 9 months to 1 year of relevant work experience, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education strongly preferred. Required abilities include clear communication, teamwork, supervision skills, confidentiality, and the physical capacity to lift 50 pounds.
