Mental Health Specialist - Oakland/Hayward

The specialist will consult with teachers and staff to support children’s social-Emotional development, provide guidance to families, and partner with directors to foster inclusive learning environments. Key duties include contributing to program quality, shaping culturally responsive practices, and managing referrals to local mental health agencies.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, preferably with a license, and a minimum of two years' experience in early childhood mental health or education. A deep commitment to culturally responsive practices, knowledge of class/Csefel frameworks, and local travel capability are also required.
