Job Description
Graduate Assistant for the Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business (LSSTB) Hours: Required 20 hours a week. Must have flexible hours.
Responsibilities
Serve as support for LSSTB projects Prepare documentation for submission to various university committees or accrediting bodies Assist with reports or grant submission for the Cumberland Culinary Center Run basic data analysis for various programs and assist with assessment measures Work closely with program directors Participate in department meetings and functions Keep LSSTB website data and programming updated Assist with proctoring of exams or other faculty requests for LSSTB undergraduate courses as needed Assist faculty and the Director of Career Services and Internships with required internships for the LSSTB undergrads. Assist with other projects as requested by the Dean.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree by May 2024 Must have a 3.0 or above overall GPA Admission (or anticipated admission) into a Cumberland University master’s program Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PPT, Excel, Access) Basic data analysis skills preferred Two academic and two professional recommendations preferred
