ILS Instructor / Independent Living Skills Instructor

Instructors work one-On-One with individuals with developmental disabilities to teach independent living skills, aiming to empower clients toward independence and community participation in a personalized environment. Responsibilities include supporting clients with goals such as money management, medical coordination, cooking, using public transit, housing location, and benefit maintenance.

Candidates must possess a strong desire to help others, a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance meeting specific liability requirements. Applicants must also successfully pass a doj/Fbi fingerprint clearance, though no prior experience is required as training is provided.
