Core responsibilities
The assistant teacher will support the nc pre-K lead teacher in managing classroom activities, ensuring adherence to standards set by the nc division of child development and early education and the nc pre-K curriculum objectives. This involves assisting in planning and implementing learning experiences across various developmental domains and observing/Assessing children's progress.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with either an associate degree in an early childhood field or a cda credential (Or be actively pursuing one). Essential qualities include empathy for children's needs, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the physical capability to work with young children.
