Special Education Teacher- (2025-2026 Academic Year) CSAS Jr./Sr. High (Grades 6-10)

The special education teacher will be responsible for providing engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum and collaborating with staff to define instructional goals and methods for grades 6-10. They must also prepare students for relevant standardized tests and utilize data analytics to drive instruction and promote learning.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and hold new york state students with disabilities or sped certification, along with required fingerprint clearance. Prior experience with diverse populations or in urban settings is a plus, and all applicants should demonstrate a growth mindset, strong conviction in student success, and comfort with data utilization.
