American Sign Language (Substitute/ Backup)

The asl substitute instructor will lead an engaging introduction to american sign language for elementary school students, teaching basic signs, vocabulary, and communication skills in an interactive environment. Responsibilities include managing classroom behavior professionally and following provided lesson plans.

Candidates must have experience with american sign language, preferably fluency or strong working knowledge, and experience working with children in an educational or enrichment setting. Reliability, strong communication, and classroom management skills are essential for stepping in when needed.
