The High School Interventionist (ELA & Math) provides targeted academic support to students in grades 9–12 who require additional assistance in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics. The interventionist works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and implement research-based interventions that accelerate student learning and close achievement gaps. This role focuses on using data to identify student needs, deliver small group and individualized instruction, monitor progress, and adjust supports to ensure students meet grade-level standards and graduation requirements. The interventionist plays a critical role in promoting student confidence, skill mastery, and academic persistence.
High School has been designated a National Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education, a STEM school by the Tennessee Department of Education, and a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education.
This is a 10 month faculty position at the University of Memphis with full benefits.
