Teacher - Academic

The residential teacher delivers standards-Aligned academic instruction within a residential care setting, combining classroom teaching with mentorship and collaboration with residential staff and clinicians. Key duties include planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, supporting social-Emotional learning, and maintaining compliance with academic regulations and documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and hold a valid state teaching license or be eligible to obtain one, along with strong classroom management and de-Escalation skills. Preferred qualifications include a special education endorsement and experience working with at-Risk youth or in therapeutic settings.
