Substance Abuse Counselor (TEAP)

The substance abuse counselor is responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating the alcohol and other drug abuse prevention/Intervention program for students. This includes conducting training sessions, monitoring student progress, and acting as a liaison for resource and referral contacts.

The primary requirement is an active, unrestricted certified alcohol and other drug certification (Cadc) in illinois, with a preference for one year of related work experience, especially working with youth in a residential setting. A master's degree is also preferred.
