Camp Birkett - Health Officer

The health officer is responsible for maintaining the health of the entire camp by utilizing medical standing orders and training to guide decision-Making, managing the health log, and overseeing the health room and supplies. This role serves as the primary contact for serious first aid incidents, staff consultations, medication distribution, and parent communication regarding camper health.

Qualifications require maintaining camp health using standing orders and training, keeping accurate health logs, and managing all health facilities and supplies. The officer must handle serious first aid, consult with staff, manage medication passing, conduct weekly health and safety checks for campers, and serve as the main point of contact for parents regarding child health issues.
