Nursing Professional Development Specialist, Nursing Professional Development, Per Diem, Day

The nursing professional development specialist is responsible for the orientation, continued learning, educational counseling, and competency of patient care services staff at the valley hospital and its affiliates. This involves interacting with staff and management to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs aligned with departmental and health system goals.

Candidates must be a registered nurse currently licensed in new jersey, possessing a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and prior experience teaching the adult learner. A master's degree is preferred, and holding a national nursing certification in any specialty is required.
