The provider is responsible for examining, diagnosing, planning, and comprehensively treating diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and providing emergency dental services for pediatric, adolescent, and special needs populations. This role also involves clinical, lab, supervisory, management, and recordkeeping functions, potentially including supervision of residents.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a valid hawaii dental license, and if they are recent us graduates who haven't taken the hawaii state dental board examination or adex, they must obtain a temporary or community health center hawaii dental license. Experience is preferred but not required, and bls certification is mandatory within three months of hire if not already possessed.
