High School History Teacher (2026-27)

The teacher is responsible for prayerfully guiding students in learning attitudes, skills, and subject matter to develop them into mature, responsible christians, while reflecting the school's purpose to honor christ in all activities. Major duties include planning and delivering lessons, integrating biblical principles into the curriculum, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and either 24 hours of coursework in the specific content discipline or an appropriate teaching certification, aligning with actabs faculty member standards. Essential functions require strong logical reasoning, effective communication, the ability to work independently, and physical capacity to manage classroom environments and standard office equipment.
