Lower Elementary Special Education Teacher (2026-2027)

The teacher will provide instruction and support to students with individualized education plans (Ieps), offering inclusion support in regular education classes and occasionally teaching separate classes. Responsibilities also include managing special education programming aspects like paperwork, professional development coordination, communication, and ensuring compliance with state requirements.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of full-Time experience as a classroom or special education teacher, preferably in an urban setting. Applicants must also meet massachusetts teacher certification requirements or be able to obtain them within one year of hire, demonstrating a belief that all students can succeed.
