YMCA Ayrlawn Junior Camp Counselor

Junior camp counselors will assist counselors in leading groups of campers through daily camp activities, focusing on fun, learning, and exploration. Responsibilities also include supporting a safe environment, guiding camper relationships, and leading small group activities like music, games, art, or storytelling.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and available to work from the week before camp starts through the end of the season, covering june through august 2023/2026. Candidates must obtain cpr and first aid certification, pass background checks, and be physically active, capable of lifting 35 pounds, and documenting a physical exam and tb test.
