- Supervise and guide youth throughout daily activities
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Implement individualized treatment plans with consistency
- Model appropriate communication, behavior, and conflict resolution
- Monitor surroundings and intervene when necessary
- Review logs at the start of each shift
- Complete all documentation accurately before the end of shift
- Participate fully in required trainings and meetings
- Serve as a mandated reporter under Michigan Child Protection Law This role requires presence, awareness, and integrity. QualificationsThis Position Requires Strong Character
- Remain calm and professional during crisis situations
- Apply Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) techniques appropriately
- Maintain firm and appropriate boundaries
- Make safe decisions even when no one is watching
- Accept feedback and follow direction from supervisors

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to obtain Level 1 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) endorsement
- Ability to complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training and physically perform CPI techniques
- Ability to obtain American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Chauffeur’s License (or ability to obtain Chauffeur’s License) Training is provided by the agency. Professional conduct is expected from day one. What Success Looks Like

Shift Premium Pay (Additional Earnings by Shift) To recognize the demands of non-day shifts, the following hourly premiums are applied on top of base pay: 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening) $2.00 shift premium Total
