YMCA Program Staff

The program staff will guide elementary-Aged children (Ages 5-12) through an afterschool safety around water program, which includes pool supervision with lifeguards and conducting curriculum-Based activities outside the pool. Responsibilities also involve supporting smooth transitions, managing a safe environment, and fostering positive connections with participants and families.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and preferred experience includes working with elementary-Aged children in settings like daycare, after-School programs, or camps, along with customer service experience. First aid and cpr certifications are required, though training is provided and paid for by the ymca.
