Your Role

Mental Health Technician/Skills Trainer

  • Builds rapport with clients, providing daily support, structure, activities, group, and safety.
  • Provide skills training to clients to help them learn to manage their mental health symptoms.
  • Models, coaches, and counsels' clients regarding appropriate hygiene, and social and interpersonal interactions.
  • QMHA Required - must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field; or a combination of at least three years relevant work, education, training or experience; and demonstrate the competency necessary to communicate effectively; understand mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts; provide psychosocial skills development; implement interventions as assigned on an individual plan of care; and provide behavior management and case management

Duties

Available shifts - • 40/hours week - Wednesday - Saturday -12

  • 30pm to 10:30pm -
  • Variable on-call with availability to work days and hours as needed Sunday through Saturday
