Child Care Teacher Assistant (Head Start)

The assistant will collaborate with lead teachers to design and deliver learning experiences that promote the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of every child within a safe and stimulating classroom. Key duties include guiding learning through discovery, utilizing curriculum for age-Appropriate activities, and fostering strong connections between children and their families.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with six months of experience in an early childhood environment. A child development associate (Cda) credential for preschool is required, or the candidate must be enrolled in a cda program with completion expected within two years of hiring.
