Responsibilities also include recording student progress, supporting data-Driven interventions, and contributing insights during multidisciplinary meetings like iep discussions.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or speech-Language pathology and hold valid licensure as an assistant in speech-Language pathology granted by the texas department of licensing and regulation (Tdlr). Current cpr certification is also required, although bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
