Speech Language Pathology Assistant

The speech-Language pathology assistant will collaborate with the supervising slp to support the assessment and treatment of communication disorders by executing therapy plans and monitoring augmentative and alternative communication (Aac) devices. Responsibilities also include recording student progress, supporting data-Driven interventions, and contributing insights during multidisciplinary meetings like iep discussions.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or speech-Language pathology and hold valid licensure as an assistant in speech-Language pathology granted by the texas department of licensing and regulation (Tdlr). Current cpr certification is also required, although bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
