This role involves developing, planning, implementing, facilitating, directing, and evaluating experiential therapy programming across specialized treatment areas, applying knowledge in an educational capacity with staff and community resources. The therapist must conduct scheduled experiential therapy sessions, evaluate and coordinate programming to meet patient needs, and maintain safe therapy environments.

Requirements summary

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in art, music, dance, recreation, or related therapies, with a master's degree preferred; relevant certification/Registration is also preferred. Candidates must obtain cpr certification, formal training in managing aggressive patients, and ropes and challenge course training within specified timeframes after hire.
