Core responsibilities
The classroom teacher is responsible for educating and supporting students to help them reach learning targets by demonstrating content mastery and providing rich learning tasks for intellectual engagement. Duties include planning and implementing innovative learning tasks, assessing learning formatively and summatively, and providing timely feedback to students and parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates must demonstrate mastery of content knowledge, follow the ahs curriculum framework, and ensure high-Quality learning experiences through structured lessons focused on engagement and critical thinking. Preferred qualifications include honors and ap experience, a minimum of three years of k-12 teaching experience, and a relevant bachelor's degree.
