Sr. Mentor

The case planner works to achieve permanency for children through reunification, adoption, or independent living preparation, involving conducting various home visits and providing referrals to community services. Clinical responsibilities include engaging with parents and youth using motivational interviewing, implementing evidence-Based models, and serving as a primary liaison in various settings.

Candidates must possess a ba or ma in psychology, sociology, or a related field, with a bsw or msw plus 1-2 years of child welfare experience being preferred. Required attributes include knowledge of community resources, ability to negotiate complex systems, computer literacy, and excellent interpersonal skills, with bilingual spanish/English being preferred.
