Child Care Assistant, (On Campus) Part-Time (STF2954)

Essential functions include assisting with planning and implementing learning opportunities, sharing responsibility for the daily programming progression, and setting up and maintaining learning centers within the classroom. The assistant must also prepare snacks, supervise meals, and maintain a healthy and safe environment for the children.

Candidates must enjoy working with young children and possess one year of childcare assistant experience in a licensed center, along with either a cda, twelve ece credit hours, or an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field. Physical requirements involve keeping pace with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and excellent communication skills, plus a valid kansas driver's license.
