Special Education Literacy Specialist (Autism & ADHD Focus)

The specialist will provide individualized, one-On-One literacy instruction focusing on foundational skills like phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension, while also supporting language development and homework completion. Key duties include incorporating creative, art-Based, and sensory strategies to boost engagement and fostering social skills and functional life skills integration during sessions.

Candidates must be credentialed teachers with extensive experience working with students with autism and adhd, alongside familiarity with dyslexia support and strong literacy instruction expertise. Ideal applicants will possess deep knowledge of evidence-Based reading instruction and the ability to adapt lessons using creative methods while maintaining flexibility for scheduling.
