Behavioral Health Outreach Specialist

The specialist is responsible for informing the community about borinquen medical centers' services related to substance use, mental health, and hiv prevention through direct outreach and educational presentations. Key tasks include recruiting participants for testing, providing linkages to necessary services for individuals with behavioral health disorders, and assisting with program reporting and data collection.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with prior outreach experience and a valid florida driver's license. Bilingual proficiency in spanish/English or haitian-Creole/English is preferred, and holding the hiv/Aids 500-501 certification from the department of health is a specific requirement.
