Training Specialist

The training specialist empowers and supports adults with disabilities by developing creative learning opportunities to help them achieve personal goals related to independence and community connection. This involves supporting neurodiverse adults in finding hobbies, making friends, volunteering, and building self-Reliance through community integration and prevocational skill training.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, be willing to obtain a class e chauffeur’s license, and demonstrate respect for the dignity and diversity of participants.
