As a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba), responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments (Fbas), designing behavior intervention plans (Bips), and providing direct therapeutic services for children with autism using aba techniques. The role also involves training technicians and caregivers, monitoring progress, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bcba degree with an active license in the united states (With the requirement to obtain a hawaii license) and must live on the island or be willing to relocate to maui from within the u.s. One year of pediatric therapy experience is preferred but not required, alongside strong communication skills and tenacity to reach goals.
