Intervention Specialist

The intervention specialist supports educational and behavioral goals for all students, particularly those with an individualized education program, by collaborating with teachers on intervention strategies and modifying general education curriculum as needed. Key duties include conducting diagnostic assessments, writing and implementing behavior improvement plans, facilitating iep meetings, and integrating culturally responsive teaching practices.

Candidates must possess a current state license and knowledge of state standards and common core standards, along with experience in full-Room inclusion or co-Teaching in a resource room model. Required attributes include high proficiency in written/Verbal communication, comfort with growth-Focused coaching, excellent organization, and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
