STEM Instructor - Otter

The stem instructor is responsible for providing direct instruction of stem programming to children aged six to thirteen within a traditional day camp setting, while championing the ymca's mission and values. Essential functions include possessing mature judgment, monitoring camp operations for compliance, relating to campers positively, maintaining safety standards, and instructing various classes daily.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess current state-Approved first aid and cpr/Aed certifications. Required qualifications include over two years of experience working with children, preferably in a day camp, along with being highly organized and experienced in lesson and project planning.
