Adjunct Faculty - Oral Communication - Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing - West Covina

The adjunct faculty member will teach oral communication courses supporting the adn program, focusing on developing students’ oral, interpersonal, and professional communication skills essential for effective nursing practice. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, developing course materials, assessing student performance, and maintaining accurate records in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in communication, speech, rhetoric, or a closely related field, or a master's in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester units in communication. Required knowledge includes strong communication theory, the ability to relate concepts to healthcare, and proficiency with learning management systems.
