Core responsibilities
The teacher will be responsible for developing the special curricular trajectory and managing goals for each student, while also overseeing and training staff on goal procedures in collaboration with the site director. Key duties include professional development delegation, collaboration on student objectives, identifying individual needs, creating a supportive learning environment, and maintaining all necessary iep documentation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree and hold or qualify for a washington teaching certificate with a special education endorsement, along with first aid/Cpr certification. The role requires the ability to physically respond to active and aggressive children, adolescents, and young adults, and willingness to be trained in qbs safety care de-Escalation and crisis management techniques.
