Swim Lesson Instructor

The instructor will teach swimming skills focused on building confidence and water safety, adhering to national guidelines for course levels and ratios. Responsibilities also include enforcing safety rules, planning lessons, managing equipment setup/Teardown, taking attendance, and assisting with pool cleanliness.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and capable of relating well with diverse groups in a friendly manner. Required qualifications include passing a skills test involving treading water and demonstrating proficiency in multiple swimming strokes, though necessary certifications like cpr, first aid, and ymca swim lessons instructor can be obtained through free training provided by the employer.
