Secondary Special Education Teacher

The role involves developing, executing, and continuously updating comprehensive individualized education programs (Ieps) tailored to each student's unique needs, fostering measurable growth. Responsibilities also include designing behavior support plans, assessing student abilities, allocating activities aligned with ieps, and delivering research-Based instruction across various settings.

Candidates must possess a valid michigan teaching certificate with specific endorsements in learning disabilities, cognitive impairment, and/Or emotional impairment, and must meet background check requirements. Successful candidates should have experience working with secondary students with disabilities in a special education setting and demonstrate strong communication skills and knowledge of content standards.
