Assistant Teacher, Tutor Time of Lindenhurst

Assistant teachers are responsible for ensuring the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards, while maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. They must also develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children, and effectively communicating with families.

Candidates must be energetic and dependable individuals with a passion for working with children, who are willing to complete extensive training on childcare and child development topics. Applicants must also meet state and/Or accreditation requirements for education and experience, and be able to engage in physical activity with children both indoors and outdoors.
