Job description

The Summer Program Counselor is a temporary full time position that provides a variety of direct and non-direct care to children ages 4-12 years old, during the summer months of May - August. The summer program counselor participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic summer program, following the lead of the program coordinator.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire along with these basic qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed Ability to climb stairs as needed
