Core responsibilities
This role involves functioning as a clinical member of the assertive community treatment (Act) team, providing psychotherapy, rehabilitation, and support services primarily in the consumer's home or community to help avoid re-Hospitalization. Key duties include engaging consumers in vocational pursuits, conducting assessments, facilitating job placement using the supportive employment model, and providing ongoing job coaching and support.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work or a related field, or a bachelor's in a human service field, coupled with one to three years of relevant experience depending on the degree level, including experience in employment services. Applicants need knowledge of treatment modalities for severe mental illness, familiarity with psychotropic medications, and a valid nc/Sc driver's license.
