Job description

Description Therapy Smarts is looking for passionate OTs who are interested in living our mission of “Turning challenges into triumphs for all children" to join our growing team in a full-time capacity. Must have experience in pediatrics either through previous employment or fieldwork placement. Experience in a school setting is a plus. Therapy Smarts, Inc. is a therapist-owned private pediatric outpatient clinic providing SLP, PT, and OT services to children of all ages and diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, apraxia, dyslexia, feeding disorders, and developmental delays.

Role & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and periodic reevaluations for pediatric clients (3-10 years old). Administer standardized assessments and clinical observations. Prepare clear, timely, and thorough written evaluation reports with measurable goals and recommendations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support service planning. Maintain compliance with documentation and billing requirements.

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina. Minimum 2 years pediatric experience; evaluation experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in a variety of pediatric assessment tools (e.g., PDMS-2, BOT-2, Sensory Profile). Strong written communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines. Compensation & Schedule Paid per completed evaluation. Flexible schedule; assignments based on need.
